Hart’s, URMC team up for “Walk with a Doc” event on Jan. 24

Dr. Geoffrey Williams will share insight about heart health.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — On Saturday, January 24 at 10 a.m., Hart’s Local Grocers will be hosting a “Walk with a Doc” event. Dr. Geoffrey Williams from the University of Rochester Medical Center’s Healthy Living Center will be speaking about “How to Stay Hart Healthy,” covering ways to reduce cardiovascular disease risk.

Dr. Williams will speak for 30 minutes in the Hart’s café. Following the talk, he will lead participants on a 30-minute walk through the East End neighborhood, and will field questions from the group.

“Not only are we proud to connect Rochesterians to the region’s greatest foods, we’re delighted to have Dr. Williams join us and offer tips on living a healthier lifestyle,” said Colleen Griffin-Underhill, Hart’s General Manager.
